The speed at which we've been delivering Azure MCP Server releases has posed challenges when trying to balance code quality and PR turnaround times. We've written coding guidelines for both humans and agents, PR checklists, and automated checks; but some things still slip through the cracks occasionally.
Here are two big problems we'd like to see addressed in the near future:
- Ensuring items in the PR checklist are enforced (changelog entries, adding/recording live tests, evaluating tool descriptions, etc.)
- Reducing PR review turnaround times from both the reviewers and authors perspectives
